Do things seem cloudy to you right now?

As I thought back on what I had recently studied, I knew that I needed to pray.

“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named…”

-Paul, Ephesians 3:14-15

Have you ever thought to yourself, “I can’t seem to see past this, everything is just so crazy now or Lord, where are you in this?” Well, you’re not alone. For myself, as an overseas missionary, these are some of the thoughts that definitely creep into my mind as we choose this path to walk, surrendering our income to the Lord and diligently serving Him.

Thank God for His love, His Son, His Spirit! On my knees I prayed, “God, there’s a lot of cloudiness but I see you walking out towards us. I will keep my eyes on you. Thank you for reaching out to us always. Amen.”

It was one of the shortest prayers I had with Him. I got up and said to myself, “Trust Him. You know He us in His arms, we’ve done all we can do.” I opened my bible to hear from Him more.

"Then the sea arose because a great wind was blowing. So when they rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near the boat; and they were afraid. But He said to them, 'It is I; do not be afraid.' Then they willingly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going." John 6:16-21

Shortly after that prayer and study, there was no coincidence. More monthly support funds came in and God continues to provide so that we can continue serving the people of the Dominican Republic! I know I have to just remember that when my clouds of doubt arise, my Savior is always there ready to break through it’s midst. In Him, we are never alone!

THANK YOU to all those that are faithfully and sacrificially able, financially supporting our family ministry, as well as to all of you that keep us in your prayers as well!

"...that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with His might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you,
being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height- to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:16-21

As connections are continuing to be made, we believe the above ministries in the Dominican Republic are only the first of many more that we can’t wait to share with you, how God continues to move in mighty ways for His kingdom! Our next update through newsletter, we will have some more detail of just how these new intentional relationships are working together. Not on our mailing list?
